In 2015, Golden did lightfastness testing on this blend, as it contained a color that had not been rated by the ASTM. At that time, it received an estimated equivalent of ASTM I. In 2023, Golden published groundbreaking new research on lightfastness and choice of mixing whites. The choice of mixing white may affect the performance of certain pigments.
