Arylide Yellow 5GX
Yellow Ochre natural
The name for this color might be a bit misleading, as it is a bit more of a pale tan or Naples yellow, or even a warm bright ivory color. There are numerous colors in the Old Holland line with which this could be confused, so it may be helpful to say something about them. This color name comes in Light, Medium, and Deep. Old Holland Yellow Medium is an ivory with a bit of warmth while Old Holland Yellow Light is more of a warm white. Old Holland Yellow Deep is a slightly deeper ivory reminiscent of old lace. All of these are very distinct from the handful of colors called Old Holland Scheveningen Yellows as well as the Old Holland Cadmium Yellows. The most similar colors to Old Holland Yellow Medium (remember— ivory) are the slightly deeper Old Holland Yellow Deep (think lace), and the more Naples-yellow like color, Old Holland Brilliant Yellow Light, which is slightly higher chroma than the ivory Old Holland Yellow Medium.
