This is actually more of a warm white. In other words it is a cool, bright ivory. Interestingly, with a bit of aging and dark yellowing, it is actually very similar in appearance to many of Old Holland’s white paints. It is quite a bit whiter than Old Holland Yellow Deep and Old Holland Yellow Medium, which are like warm ivories. There are numerous yellows in the Old Holland line. To start, this color comes in both Light and Medium. Both are distinct from the handful of colors called Old Holland Scheveningen Yellow. It should also be noted that this color is different from Old Holland Brilliant Yellow and Brilliant Yellow Light— all are different colors.
