At the time of this writing we have not yet tried Great White. However, bear a few things in mind when reading the brand statements. Safflower oil tends to form less-strong paint films than linseed. Also this paint contains zinc white, and zinc has been linked to delamination issues in painting. Some sites selling this paint mention a “proprietary” blend of oils and pigments, which raises a lot of questions. It is unclear who manufactures Great White, and it appears to be related to Jerry’s Artarama.
