Dioxazine Violet (this pigment can be a deeper violet or a redder violet shade)
Titanium White
This is a lavender color around value 7 in Munsell, and is actually a fairly cool purple without going into the blue-violet range. The color looks very lavender and middle purple, however in looking at through the Munsell lens, it is only 1 page from the blue purples, making it a bit of a coolish lavender that is still very violet. For this mix, white is blended with PV23 (dioxazine) and so we always recommend lightfastness tests as that pigment is said to vary somewhat. However this can be a nice hue to have on the palette. The texture reminded us of the Gamblin Radiant White- light, fluffy, robust and glossy.
Gamblin notes that the series of Radiant colors are at Munsell value 7. Gamblin categorizes this color as cool. More information can be found at https://gamblincolors.com/radiantcolors/
