Titanium White
Williamsburg makes two unbleached titanium colors. This color is lighter in value than its counterpart, Williamsburg Unbleached Titanium. In comparison the Pale version is a bit bluer and whiter in mixtures, even though it is warmer than Titanium White. The sister pigment, Williamsburg Unbleached Titanium is warmer, yellower, and deeper in value than Unbleached Titanium Pale. This color has a very slight greying power which is useful in mixtures. Its warmth helps to counteract the cool effect of Titanium White.
We noticed the brand’s description is the same for Unbleached Titanium and Unbleached Titanium Pale. The latter looks lighter. In 2023, Golden published a vital series of tests on their colors and how they performed in mixes with various white paints.
