Williamsburg Pyrrole Orange

Williamsburg Pyrrole Orange, like other varieties of PO73, is a near-essential color for the way it behaves in tints. The hues it creates with titanium white explode with high chroma that is difficult to create exactly by other means. A lovely and useful hue, it is also extremely chromatic in masstone. The masstone and the tints fall between red and orange on the spectrum.

In 2023, Golden published a vital series of tests on their colors and how they performed in mixes with various white paints.
