Old Holland Mars Black is a noticeably warmer version of Mars Black than most other brands. This color is a strong tinter. For a cooler counterpart or even as a warm-cool duo, cool but similar versions of this paint can be found in Blockx and RGH. The Old Holland Mars Black dries matte. In consistency it feels tough, the texture is almost ragged though it smooths nicely. The color is a bit lighter in value and has a very subltle texture.
