Quinacridone Violet / Rose (this pigment can be violet or magenta)
Vasari’s Ruby Red is a very red version of PV19, quinacridone magenta, meaning that it is warmer than most Quinacridone Magentas. Vasari does not seem to offer a color at the hue angle of most other Quinacridone Magentas, and there is a bit of a large gap between Vasari Ruby Red and their quite plum-colored Ruby Violet. This red-leaning magenta is strong tinter, and its consistency is very buttery. Vasari Ruby Red is a high chroma red in masstone with chromatic tints and rich red glazes.
