It appears the manufacturer did not list the pigment(s) for this paint.
This is a shade of taupe that is very muted, and has a slight grey-yellow-greenish slant to it while still sticking closer to the neutrals. Vasari’s Shiprock is darker in value and less pink than the Vasari mix called Bluff. In some ways this could be called a deep linen warm grey in the 5Y Munsell range. This color interestingly has Cadmium Yellow as the only known ingredient— a color which shows up at times on the edges of the paint daub while mixing. Unfortunately Vasari does not publish the ingredients in their convenience mixtures. However, we were overall favorable to the Scott Christensen colors, as they may be handy to have pre-mixed on the palette in order to save some time while painting. This one is medium lightness, so it is darker than Vasari’s Bluff.
