Sennelier’s Sap Green is a bit lower chroma than some other offerings, and it’s a middle olive green. The consistency is soupy, there is extra oil, and the paint has a solvent smell. In masstone in is a lighter Sap Green than some others. It dries with a glossy finish. The paint is not a strong tinter. A similar color which has different handling and is higher in chroma is Old Holland’s Sap Green Lake Extra. It is likely that not all of the ingredients are listed in Sennelier’s Sap Green, as this color is far more desaturated than just PG36 would suggest.
