This color is a deep cadmium red that is a bit lower in lightness than Winsor and Newton. When making tints, this color (like most cadmium reds) looses a bit of chroma when mixed with white, so if you are wanting high chroma pink tints it might be helpful to pair with a magenta. In masstone this is a lovely deep red with a flowing consistency.
