Quinacridone Violet / Rose (this pigment can be violet or magenta)
Old Holland Scheveningen Rose Deep, a Quinacridone Rose color, is on the whole very similar to most high end PV19 paints. Among similar paints it has a slightly even more cool hue than most and yields very chromatic tints. Its starting point is a bit deeper in masstone value than others as well. M Graham’s Quinacridone Rose is probably the most similar, though it differs as M Graham is bound in walnut oil.
This color is distinct from the four other Scheveningen Reds made by Old Holland.
