This intriguing mix could be thought of as a deeper shade of Old Holland Gamboge. The Indian Yellow Brown Lake Extra does have an orangeness to it, but it is not nearly as orange as their Indian Yellow Orange Lake Extra. For clarity, Old Holland makes several Indian Yellow Lake Extras— Indian Yellow Brown Lake Extra, Indian Yellow Green Lake Extra, and Indian Yellow Orange Lake Extra. This color is also different from Old Holland Yellow Brown.
