Rublev makes several kinds of lead white. The paints labeled Lead White No. 1 and Lead White No. 2 differ in binding oils. This one, No. 2, is bound in Walnut Oil. The paler walnut oil does make a difference to this color. Also please note that in general, genuine lead colors are toxic.
