Zecchi Historic Pigments- List 2 Morellone Red Oxide

This is what the entry from the Zecchi site looks like to help in ordering: “ MORELLONE RED OXIDE .” Here is our best guess at the equivalent in Italian. This is from the Italian portion of the site: “ (MORELLO DI FERRO) - MORELLONE. Composizione chimica: Ossido di ferro. (Gruppo: 2).”

Zecchi also lists Morellone on their general list of pigments as well as under “pigmenti antichi”. We are not sure whether these are in fact the same pigment. They do share an item number. However if historical pigments are important to your practice, consult Zecchi to be sure.
