Zecchi sells several varieties of Lapis Lazuli, so do be sure you are getting the variety you have in mind. There is also a second rate lapis lazuli as well. A color swatch for this color was drawn from a scholarly article which did not designate which variety was being shown. The hex code for that was #2252BC. Due to the deep and rich color of blue, we infer that this color is for the first-rate quality. Please note that this is not as deep as a synthetic ultramarine. For the natural Lapis Lazuli something like this color of blue may represent a very fine quality.
