Quinacridone Magenta
Old Holland Magenta is the their name for the single pigment Quinacridone Magenta offered by Old Holland. This color dried a bit more matte in masstone than Puro’s Quinacridone Violet (also PR122) as well as Michael Harding’s Magenta (same pigment). However the Old Holland was attractive in tints and was just a bit redder than the aforementioned paints. We’d recommend lightfastness testing on most pigments and PR122 is one of them. Overall a nice quinacridone magenta.
Probably the most chromatic deep magenta in Old Holland’s line.
