Pleasant to work with as it is a little less stiff than some of the Gamblin cadmiums. This color is beautifully high chroma and bright. This color dries matte despite being somewhat shiny when wet. More easy to spread with a palette knife than some of the other Gamblin Cadmiums (like Cadmium Yellow Light and Deep). Gamblin actually has two Cadmium Oranges, and this is the more yellow-leaning orange of the two. It has brilliantly bright high chroma.
