Not many brands have two paints that are named cadmium orange, and of the two cadmium oranges this one is the redder-orange in hue. This one coheres to itself and there is a little bit of a ribbonlike behavior. Cadmium Orange Deep has more flow than some of the other Gamblin colors, and yet still has a bit of an impasto tendency. While it does not have the strongest tinting strength it does have gorgeous, high chroma.
