Titanium White
Phthalocyanine Blue
Zinc Oxide
In the past, Gamblin materials mentioned that this color was based on their Titanium Zinc white formula. A convenience mixture that was Introduced in 2013. Gamblin elaborates on this mixture along with its counterpart, Warm White: “These unique temperature biased whites are formulated for painters who want to factor the color of the light into their color mixtures. The color of the light source influences all of the other colors in the painting’s subject matter. Using a white that replicates the temperature of your light can create a consistent quality of light and color harmony throughout your painting.” More information about Gamblin’s white colors can be found at: https://gamblincolors.com/getting-the-white-right-by-robert-gamblin/ and https://gamblincolors.com/cool-white-warm-white/
