This color is one of three Old Holland Scheveningen Blues, all of which are phthalos. Scheveningen Blue Deep and Scheveningen Blue are two different varieties of Phthalo, while the Light variety is a phthalo with white pigments added. It might be helpful to note that this color is a different color than Old Holland Blue Deep, or Old Holland Blue. All of these are separate paints. In 2024, Old Holland updated their pigment information that will be printed on tubes to specify the exact variety of phthalo used (instead of the generic PB15, it will now specify PB15:2).
