This is part of a trio of Old Holland phthalo blues. This color is distinct from their Scheveningen Blue Deep and Scheveningen Blue Light, though it is more similar in appearance to Scheveningen Blue Deep, as both are very dark single pigment phthalos. Scheveningen Blue and Scheveningen Blue deep are different phthalos, while the Scheveningen Blue Light is a phthalo blue with white pigments added. It may be helpful to note that this is also a different color than Old Holland Blue, Old Holland Blue Deep. All are different paints. In 2024, Old Holland updated their pigment information that will be printed on tubes to specify the exact variety of phthalo used (instead of the generic PB15, it will now specify PB15:3).
