Phthalo Green Blue Shade
M. Graham’s Phthalo Green is among the bluer forms of PG7. This color is a very strong tinter and forms lovely teals when mixed with Titanium White. A similar color is Old Holland Scheveningen Green Dark, which has a bit more of a matte look when dried, and interestingly is not as strong of a tinter. The paints differ in consistency with the M. Graham being loose and the Old Holland being stiffer. There is of course also a difference in binding oils.
