Anthriquinone Red
Jackson’s did a very nice comparison of Alizarin Permanent vs Alizarin Crimson genuine in the student range (Gamblin 1980) which may be useful when gauging color: https://www.jacksonsart.com/blog/2024/03/05/a-closer-look-at-gamblin-colour-changes/
Gamblin previously said of this color, "Alizarin Permanent is a cool, slightly bluish red with a smoky glaze and is a true replacement for Alizarin Crimson. Alizarin Permanent is slightly less intense in tint, but excellent match in masstone and transparency.“ -Gamblin Oils. This color may have been reformulated around 2023 per an Instagram post they made. They classify this color as cool.
