The Winner of the Most Octobery Orange- 2025!

🎃 We're thrilled to announce the winner of the 1st October Orange competition at Paint List!

The results are now in! 🏆

The crown for the most October Orange of 2025 goes to Michael Harding's Cadmium Orange! ✨

This warm, bright, middle orange completely stole our hearts (and it just so happens to be Jonathan’s favorite, too!).

Cadmium Orange comes in a lot of varieties from yellow-orange to red-orange, and there were no less than three Cadmium Oranges on this year's palette! Of the three Cadmiums, Michael Harding's middle-orange won for the most-Octobery, while a runner-up award goes to Old Holland's for their slightly redder Cadmium Orange.

We absolutely loved hearing from so many of you as you cast your votes-- truly delightful!
