PR179 Helpful for High Saturation Deep Reds

Schmincke Mussini, Florentine Red, PR179. An excellent and perhaps somewhat rare color for lowering the lightness of reds without losing saturation.

Years ago, I undertook the task of creating the highest chroma mixes in oil paints, (maximum color gamut) and that is when the paint shown here became part of my high chroma rainbow.
