One of the Standard Pigments on the Palette

Over at the Paint List Studio it's a Winter Wonderland! Here in the Rockies, snow has finally been falling. It’s adorned railings and patios with fluffy white garlands, given the mountains a storybook dusting, and the towering white peaks contrast nicely against the cyan western sky. What better time to turn our thoughts to Titanium Dioxide, otherwise known as Titanium White.

Our latest article on Titanium White begins with reminiscences of painting with this color as a student and marveling how (despite having painted with other pigments like lead white after art school) Titanium remains the core white pigment on our palettes.
