A rich middle red. It has decent to excellent lightfastness, but may be worse in watercolor. Seems to be rare or nonexistent in oils. A rare paint overall.

Decent to Very Good, may be worse in watercolor
Unrated, but Bruce MacEvoy found it to be close to ASTM II in watercolor. Several of the published metrics for lightfastness showed it to be only moderate (BWS 6) so we would probably avoid this color.
