While we do not have data on this exact pigment, in general the lightfastness of fluorescent pigments is poor. This article on fluorescent colors with some recent testing by Golden has some pictures showing how they react with light exposure.

Source: Cameo. We are unsure what actual DayGlo paint is made of. However in regard to fluorescent colors, fluorescent reds may contain a dye with CI number 45160. Monona Rossol writes, “day-glo/fluorescent” and includes reference to a note that reads, “Low acute toxicity. Animal teratogen. Mutation data. Questionable carcinogen.” She goes on to mention that some grades of general fluorescent reds may even contain arsenic. We are not sure which DayGlo colors, if any include this dye as we do not know the composition. These comments are merely included as a general context on fluorescent colors.
